In celebration of National Truck Driver Appreciation week, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the job that you do.
When Milton Sundbeck founded the company in 1980, he recognized the importance of transportation of our products, and made the commitment to invest in transportation at a time when most companies did not. Since then, operating our trucking fleet has proven time and again to be a critical component of our business, providing our customers with seamless delivery of our products, an advantage that others simply can’t compete with. Today, Southern Ionics employs over 100 drivers who are on pace in 2022 to log more than 6,500,000 miles and complete more than 25,000 deliveries to our customers.
As a professional driver, every time you step in your truck your attention to detail and the pride you take in doing your job safely and efficiently is critical to the success of Southern Ionics. In my travels I see our trucks on the road frequently and there is nothing that I am prouder to see than a than a shiny Southern Ionics’ rig rolling!
Thank you again for the job that you do.
Sincerely,
Joe Stevens
President and Chief Operating Officer
